Epson (Seiko Epson Corporation) is a Japanese electronics manufacturer, one of the world's largest makers of printers and imaging equipment. In the rental and events industry, it is known for its professional 3LCD Pro L series laser projectors (with brightness up to 30,000 lumens) for stage design, concerts, and installations.

The company's roots trace back to Daiwa Kogyo, founded in 1942 in Suwa, Nagano Prefecture, with the backing of the Hattori family (the Seiko group) to manufacture watch parts. In 1959, a merger formed Suwa Seikosha, the company's direct predecessor, and in 1968 it released the world's first mini-printer, the EP-101, which gave the Epson brand its name. In 1985, the merger of Suwa Seikosha and Epson Corporation formed the present-day Seiko Epson Corporation; other key milestones include the development of Micro Piezo inkjet technology and the company's stock market listing in 2003.
