Froggys Fog (Froggy's Fog) is an American manufacturer of professional fluids and equipment for stage special effects: fog, haze, artificial snow, bubbles, foam, and scent, along with the corresponding machines. The fluids are manufactured in the USA from laboratory-grade deionized water and pharmaceutical-grade ingredients.
The company was founded in 2003 by Chris Markgraf and Adam Pogue in Tennessee. It grew out of an unfortunate experience of Markgraf's: fog at the laser tag center he had opened triggered an asthma attack and eye irritation, after which he, together with Pogue and biochemists (including Oliver Yates of Lipscomb University), developed a safer fog fluid formula. The brand grew alongside the boom of the haunted house industry in the US; its products are used in amusement parks, escape rooms, concerts, Cirque du Soleil shows, and even for the smoke trail of the Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron. During the COVID-19 pandemic, in March 2020, the company temporarily switched to producing a disinfectant called Simply Sanitizer.
