Gator (Gator Co. / Gator Cases) is an American manufacturer of protective cases, bags, stands, and support systems for musical instruments, professional audio, AV, lighting, and IT equipment; a key accessories brand in the rental and stage equipment industry with a lineup of more than 1,000 products.

The company was founded in 2000 in Tampa, Florida, USA, by the father-daughter team of Jerry Freed and Crystal Morris, and debuted at the Summer NAMM show in Nashville with a small line of molded plastic guitar cases. In 2008, Gator acquired the Protechtor Cases manufacturing operation in Fort Wayne, Indiana; in 2013 it launched the Frameworks line of stands and support systems; and in 2014 it moved into a new manufacturing and logistics complex of over 180,000 square feet in Columbia City, Indiana. Further growth came through acquisitions: Viking Cases (ATA touring cases, 2015) and Levy's Leathers (guitar straps, 2018). Today, under the umbrella brand Gator Co., the company produces the sub-brands Gator Cases, Frameworks, Rackworks, Cableworks, and Levy's.
