Lake is a professional audio electronics brand of Australian origin, known for digital DSP processors and loudspeaker management systems for live sound reinforcement and installations. Today Lake is the audio processing technology of the Lab.gruppen brand (part of the Music Tribe group).

Lake was founded in the early 1990s (around 1990) by three Australian engineers — David McGrath, Brian Connolly, and Marcus Altman — in Adelaide; its first product was the Huron digital audio workstation with proprietary DSP algorithms. In the mid-1990s McGrath, together with renowned touring sound engineer Bruce Jackson and with support from Clair Brothers, developed a digital processor for live concert sound, and in 2001 Lake released the Lake Contour Pro 26 processor. In 2003-2004 Lake Technology was acquired by Dolby Laboratories (for approximately AU$21.6 million), leading to the industry-standard Dolby Lake Processor. In 2009 Sweden's Lab.gruppen acquired the Lake trademark and exclusive rights to the technology for the live and fixed-installation sound markets; the brand is now part of Lab.gruppen/Music Tribe.
