Mojo Barriers is a Dutch company, the original international supplier and manufacturer of aluminum front-of-stage barrier systems for crowd control at concerts, festivals, and sporting and cultural events. The name "Mojo Barriers" has become a generic term for stage safety barriers within the live events industry.
The company was founded in 1988 as a division of the Dutch concert promoter Mojo Concerts, which sought to improve crowd management safety at live events; Mojo Barriers was the first to launch a purpose-designed stage barrier system. Originally developed for Mojo Concerts' own needs, the barriers quickly became sought after by the world's leading performers (Prince, U2, Rolling Stones, Metallica). Over 25 years the company expanded significantly, opening offices in the UK (London, 1998), the US (Colorado Springs, 2003; later Pennsylvania), and Australia (Sydney, 2012). Since 2017, Mojo Barriers has been part of the EVAGO group (which also includes the German event company BÜMO).
