Neumann (Georg Neumann GmbH, "Neumann.Berlin") is a German manufacturer of professional studio audio equipment and the world leader in studio microphones. It is known for condenser microphones for recording, broadcast, and live sound, and also produces studio monitors, headphones, preamplifiers, and audio interfaces.

The company was founded on November 23, 1928, in Berlin by Georg Neumann and Erich Rickmann (originally as "Georg Neumann & Co."). Its first product was the CMV 3 condenser microphone — the world's first series-produced condenser microphone, nicknamed the "Neumann bottle" for its shape. After World War II, the firm was re-established as "Georg Neumann GmbH" and in 1949 released the legendary U 47 microphone, which earned worldwide recognition in the recording industry. Since January 1, 1991, Neumann has been part of the Sennheiser group; development, marketing, and sales remain in Berlin, while manufacturing takes place in Wedemark, near Hanover.
