SDMO (Kohler-SDMO) is a French manufacturer of diesel and gas generator sets (power stations) ranging from approximately 1 kVA to 3,300 kVA, including mobile/rental units, welding generators, and motor pumps. One of the leading generator set manufacturers in Europe and the third-largest in the world, it supplies products to more than 180 countries; since 2005 it has been a division of the American Kohler group.

The company was founded in 1966 in Brest, Brittany, by the Meunier group under the name SDMO (Société de Distribution des Moteurs de l'Ouest), initially producing marine engines. In 1969, it shifted its focus to manufacturing generator sets, and in 1995 it opened a new 15,000 m² factory and office in Guipavas, near Brest. In 2005, the Meunier family sold SDMO to the American Kohler Co. group; in 2016, the brand was renamed KOHLER-SDMO as it transitioned to Kohler's own engines. In 2021, final integration of the brand under the KOHLER name began.
