Shure (Shure Incorporated) is an American manufacturer of professional and consumer audio equipment. It is best known for its microphones (the legendary SM57 and SM58), wireless systems, in-ear monitors (IEMs), mixers, and conferencing systems — staple equipment for concerts, festivals, and rental applications.

The company was founded in Chicago in 1925 by Sidney N. Shure as a supplier of radio parts kits. In 1939, Shure released the Model 55 Unidyne microphone — one of the most recognizable microphones in the world — followed in 1965-1966 by the SM57 and SM58, which have been the best-selling microphones in the world since the late 1960s. In the 1990s, the company re-entered the wireless systems market, and in 2003 it relocated its headquarters to Niles, Illinois. Shure remains a private company owned by the founder's family.
