Wenger Corporation is an American manufacturer of equipment for stage and music performance spaces: acoustic shells and enclosures, mobile and stationary stages/platforms, theatrical machinery and rigging, rehearsal equipment, and instrument storage systems.
The company was founded in 1946 by Harry Wenger, music director of the Owatonna, Minnesota school system, who started out making sturdier conductor's batons and drummer's practice pads in his own basement. Over time, Wenger grew into an industry leader in acoustic shells, stages, theatrical rigging, and music rehearsal equipment, with its product line eventually exceeding 600 items. Today the corporation encompasses five brands: Wenger, J.R. Clancy, GearBoss, Creative Conners, and Lutefish. In 2025, Wenger acquired stage automation specialist Creative Conners.
