Clay Paky #1009

Clay Paky (Claypaky) is an Italian manufacturer of professional lighting equipment for the entertainment industry. Known for intelligent moving heads, spotlights, and stage lighting for theaters, television, concerts, clubs, and outdoor events, as well as architectural lighting.

The company was founded in August 1976 by Pasquale "Paki" Quadri, whose nickname gave the brand its name. In the 1980s it gained recognition with the Astrodisco fixture, and later released landmark models: the Brilliant (1987, an early digitally controlled fixture) and the Golden Scan (1988, the first stepper-motor-driven fixture). In 2014, shortly before the founder's death, the brand was acquired by Osram; in 2022 it passed to the ARRI Group, and in May 2025 it became part of EK Lights.
