Prolyte is a leading Dutch manufacturer of aluminum trussing, staging structures, stage platforms, stage roofs, and rigging equipment for the events and entertainment industry. Known for its conical truss coupling system and the VERTO truss.

The company originated in 1989 as a welding business and, two years later in 1991, was reoriented toward manufacturing flight cases and aluminum trussing; 1991 is considered the founding year of the Prolyte brand. Headquartered in the town of Lek, Netherlands, the company entered the global market, setting industry standards with innovations such as the conical coupling system, the VERTO truss, modular corner blocks, and complete stage roof systems. In 2019, Prolyte was acquired by Area Four Industries, the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of aluminum and steel trussing, staging platforms, and rigging equipment. Production was consolidated at a central facility in the Czech Republic.
