DiGiCo is a British manufacturer of digital mixing consoles and audio technology for live sound reinforcement, musical theater, broadcast, and installations. A world leader in professional audio, its consoles are used on major tours and festivals.
The company was founded in 2002 on the basis of the acquired British console manufacturer Soundtracs (established in the early 1980s by a group of sound engineers). Its debut product was the D5 Live digital console for live sound (2002). In 2007 the flagship SD7 was released, launching the SD-Range line built on FPGA-based audio processing. In 2014 DiGiCo joined the Audiotonix group alongside Allen & Heath and Calrec; the SD series was later updated with Quantum software and rebranded as the Quantum line.
